​I have a book that needs me to write but just sits there on my soul driving me ever deeper into myself.   Am I lazy or just not very talented? I am so disgusted with me. One hour a day at the computer writing. One hour a day exercising.  What is wrong with me? Why do I waste hour on him? He doesn’t even need the attention I give. Bull shit! But is it me that feels like he a waste of time? No, I think he wastes time. No! He is disappearing.

​Jere Pfister is a writer and a storyteller.  She has performed on stages and art galleries in Houston, Okemos Michigan, and Kansas City.  She writes and tells stories of people and places where the tension of opposites come together.  Raised in the Jim Crow south, her curiosity led her to reject the rules and customs of her birthplace New Orleans.  She has an MFA in Theater from the University of Houston.
